I just downloaded a program to help me script write. It is Celtx. When you go for a film script it has different options. It has: Scene Heading, Action, Character, Dialoug, Parenthetical, Transition, Shot, Text. What are each of these things? Any other tips for script writing would be greatly appreciated. thanks.

How to come up with good ideas for short films?

I know you need an imagination which i do have. Its just that when i sit down and actually start to write a script i go blank. I start off with a main idea. But sometimes I dont know if they would be worth filming. Like if the audience will like it. My main focus is to get started and upload them on youtube. The basic plot line…
6 teenagers (4 girls, 2 guys). It’s grad 12 and everyone is facing thier own challanges. Between having an eating disorder and being abused and refusing to let yourself love someone, everyone has a secret. Everyone has something they are ashamed of.
Any ideas?
