Writing Expired Listing Letters

If you are a REALTOR, a great supply of income are expired MLS listings. Prospecting these expired listings are generally as inoffensive as sending the possessor of the house an expired listing letter, or as blatant as a door knock and face to face meeting. Regardless of how you prospect your customer, understanding their frame of reference are generally vital to your success.

When approaching your target client, it is essential to understand that they may possibly still be motivated to sell the house, but may feel that they have been burned by the REALTOR listing process. These prospects have heard the traditional REALTOR presentation and are open to anything that appears unique, different, or more useful than what their current real estate agent offers.

For these customers, expired listing script may not be as useful as more direct forms of marketing. Even though these letters are low cost and may be sent out in mass, they repeatedly are received much later than the prospect’s window of opportunity. It is not uncommon for an expired listing to receive five or more phone calls from aggressive real estate agents on the day that their listing expires. As a result, expired listing letters are regularly received late.

For REALTORS that use expired listings as a supply of business a more helpful method might be to employ listing lead services such as the RedX (Real Estate Data Exchange) or LeadSenders to gain access to the leads in real time. Most thriving REALTORS use these types of tools to catch leads and get listings ahead of their competitors. By means of these services, the real-estate professional utilizes a first mover advantage to catch the listing before the competition. Frequently, this minute advantage is all that the agent needs to get the business.

In general, an expired MLS listing lead will sign with the first REALTOR that makes contact. Again, this indicates that expired listing letters may not be the most helpful method in which to prospect mls listing leads. Faithfully, the maxim that the early bird gets the worm applies to these scenarios, and the successful REALTOR should adjust their lead generation plan accordingly.

E-books How To Make Sure Your E-books Are Successful.

The following article is one of a series of articles which focus on Article Marketing, Affiliate Marketing and Internet Marketing. All of the articles are based on real experiences and research done over twenty years as a personal and business coach. They are also written in response to questions which I have been asked as well as address common challenges that people have with affiliate marketing, article marketing, and internet marketing or running an online business in general. I sincerely hope that you find the following information of value. One idea, one tip, one clue can make all the difference.

Writing eBooks How To Make Sure Your eBooks Are Successful Part II

No Kidding, heres the continuation from part I

The next step in the process is to consider exactly why you are about to write this Ebook. Again, what we are trying to do is make the actual writing part as easy as possible. Of course, as all good writers know, rewrites are always inevitable. for more details go to www.boost-website-traffic.comThe point, however, is to realize that the more that is determined before the writing is started, the less rework that will be required later.

So, why are you writing and going to publish this Ebook? I want to build on my credibility as an authority in this field I want to use it as a means of directing targeted traffic to my website and the products I am selling. I will use it to promote my business. I will use it to promote relevant affiliate programs. I will sell it as a product on my website. I will use it as a giveaway to attract subscriptions to my newsletter. I want to attract affiliates to promote and sell the Ebook I want to be able to use sections of the Ebook as a course to mail to my list and attract new sub script ions

You get the idea and I am sure you can add other reasons.

I hope this will also help you to decide on the structure of your Ebook. Following your introduction, will you use specific chapters or will those chapters have to be grouped into sections. With promotion in mind, whether selling or giveaway, the section or chapter titles are as important as your Ebook title. for more details go to www.success-affiliate-marketing.comThey are in essence the “benefits” that your Ebook delivers to the reader.O.K. Lets start writing this Ebook.Making your eBook Reader Friendly

In part I, we looked at researching and understanding who the target audience is going to be. This should help in guiding you as to how your writing will not only attract readers but also how to keep them engaged throughout the Ebook. Based on your research, you may have identified that the use of some of the following “techniques” works with that audience; others are just good writing practice

Writing in a personal and conversational tone Keeping paragraphs and sentences short, but vary the length Using an active rather than passive style Using anecdotes or short stories within your chapters Including photos and images Including quick tips and hints throughout Varying the density of the pages Making use of numbered or bulleted lists Chances are the Ebook will be read on the screen so maximize the use of “white” space making it easier on the eyes of your readers; otherwise they will just stop reading after a while Ensuring your Ebook has an easy to read design. Avoid using all kinds of different fonts, lots of different colors and different font sizes otherwise your reader will be tuning out before the end of the first chapter

Who knows, your favorite niche may be insomnia but the last thing we want to do is put our readers to sleep or lose the opportunity to encourage your reader to take your suggested course of action because they didnt get that far! Remember this is reason you decided to write the Ebook in the first place. So, do yourself justice.

Make Your Career In Video Editing And Broadcasting

Hi friends, as you know I m continuously posting articles on Digital Media including print and electronic media. My previous article was casting lights on other segments, but today this article will reveal wonderful secrets of career in Digital Editing and Broadcasting.

What is the Post-production?

Post Production provides the tools to teach the concepts, theories and practices that have become the visual language of our current media form. Post-production occurs in the making of motion pictures, television programs, radio programs, videos, audio recordings, photography and digital art. It is the general term for all stages of production occurring after the actual end of shooting and/or recording the completed work. Television stations, major corporations, commercials are among the business.

It is what happens after the movie shoot is over and the stars have returned to their mansions. Post production used to be handled solely by large companies, specialized boutiques or post production divisions within the major studios themselves. These days, digital video, graphics software and more affordable equipment has brought video post production jobs into the realm of the average person.

Post-production includes all the following steps:
1.Editing the picture / television program
2.Editing the soundtrack.
3.Writing and recording the soundtrack music.
4.Adding visual special effects – mainly computer-generated imagery (CGI) and digital copy from which release prints will be made (although this may be made obsolete by digital-cinema technologies).
5.Transfer of film to Video or Data with a telecine and Color grading.

Post-Productions Includes
I am just writing my views on the technical side of the film making, other than technical side there are some more fields, film-production stages include – writing the screenplay, script development, financing, pre-production, production and film distribution/ marketing.
1. Video Editing
Video editing is the process of editing segments of motion video footage, special effects and sound recordings. Motion picture film editing is a predecessor to video editing and, in several ways, video editing simulates motion picture film editing, in theory and the use of non-linear and linear editing systems. Using video or film, a director can communicate non-fictional and fictional events. The goals of editing are to manipulate these events for better or for worse communication. It is a visual art.

Post-production is, in fact, many different processes grouped under one name. These typically include:

Non-linear Video editing softwares:
1.Adobe
a)Premiere Pro (Windows, Mac OS X)
2.Apple
a)Final Cut Pro (Mac OS X)
3.Arc Soft Showbiz (Windows)
4.Avid Technology
a)Ds Nitris (Windows)
b)Media Composer (Windows, Mac OS X)
5.Edius (Windows)
6.Lightworks (Custom hardware)
7.MAGIX Movie Edit Pro (Windows)
8.Pinnacle Studio (Windows)
9.Roxio VideoWave and MyDVD (Windows)
a)Sony Vegas Movie Studio (Windows)
10.Windows Movies Maker (Windows)
Career in Editing
Post production, film editing and visual effects are no longer rare specialties only understood by a select few. There are now more people than ever before who have the tools and knowledge to handle most post production work. There is also an abundance of work available for the growing ranks of editors and producers. Audio and video technology has become one of the hottest careers around. Learning skills in this area will allow you to get a job in the post production area of many disciplines, such as acting music (including singing), dance or even comedy. Other opportunities include animation artist, special effects artist, broadcast graphics designer and video post production artist.
2. Post-production Effects or Visual Effects
Visual effects are now thought of as post production work even though they often start prior to any production of the actual film. Post production companies generally offer facilities, equipment and experts to producers and distributors of feature films, TV shows, commercials, home videos and a wide assortment of other entertainment and informative media.
Other post production effects that are commonly used include closed captioning, film or video transfers, color correction, animation, graphics and motion, sound effects, visual effects, subtitling, video format conversion and film laboratory processing. Because of the diversity of job duties, post production companies prefer digital editors and artists with a variety of skills. They should be able to do a little bit of everything as the situation calls for it. When looking for post production jobs, do not only look at the well-known, bigger companies. You will miss out on a lot of job listings posted by smaller, up-and-coming companies in the area.
Categories
Visual effects may be divided into at least four categories:
1.Models: miniature sets and models, animatronics.
2.Matte paintings and stills: digital or traditional paintings or photographs which serve as background plates for keyed or rot scoped elements.
3.Live-action effects: keying actors or models through blue screening and green screening.
4.Digital animation: modeling, computer graphics lighting, texturing, rigging, animating, and rendering computer-generated 3D characters, particle effects, digital sets, backgrounds.
Visual Effects Software

Career in Visual Effects
There are a number of ways to begin a career in visual effects, along with a growing market for visual effects jobs. As visual effects software becomes more prevalent, the need for skilled people to operate it is expected to continue to grow. To break into the field, you can take visual effects courses, either at a university or college, or even online. You may even consider attending an animation schools so that you can learn on the latest technology available. The industry is still so new that it does not require extensive credentials or experience to enter, just the actual knowledge of how to get the most impressive visual effects possible.
Some common visual effects jobs include working with miniature sets and models; creating, operating and maintaining animatronics; and painting stills. These paintings are now typically done digitally, along with the traditional way, opening up even more opportunities for those with the right qualifications and skills. Sometimes, all it takes is knowing the right visual effects software package, and you can get an opportunity with a movie studio.
3. Sound design
If youre interested in the way movie music is combined with sound effects to produce an effective and engaging movie soundtrack that enhances the cinematic experience, a career as a sound designer might be right for you. A person who practices the art of sound design is known as a Sound Designer.
Sound design for motion pictures takes the dialogue and ambient sound captured during filming and refines it into a carefully engineered audio track with a life all its own. The sound designer also incorporates songs, sound effects and the film score into movie soundtracks to help create tone and mood. Sound design is a conceptually creative/technical field. It covers all non-compositional elements of a film, a play, a music performance or recording, computer game Software or any other multimedia project. Steps to Becoming a Sound Designer
The film business can be tricky for newcomers to understand because theres no one proven way to break into it. However, the essential skills of a sound designer are pretty standard. To prepare yourself for a career in sound design, you should have:
1.A thorough understanding of audio recording and playback equipment.
2.A knack for electronics and sound technologies, including cable patching and mixing boards
3.A high level of comfort in digital environments
4.Good comprehension of the physics of sound
Sound Editing Software
1.Apple Sound Track

Attract Satisfied Customers By Using Mama Mia Web Marketing

Did you go to see the movie Mama Mia recently? Wasn’t it great? No matter how gloomy the economy or how uncertain people’s job prospects, the movie smashed box office records worldwide – everyone came out smiling.

When global economies are reeling and everyone is feeling the pinch, this frivolous story set on a magical Mediterranean island warms everybody’s hearts. What’s the secret? And – what lesson can we learn from Mama Mia that will help our web businesses?

Well, for me, Mama Mia is a terrific “feel good” movie. You just can’t help it. The sun, the sand, those great Abba soundtracks, and the tale of love that is lost and found by the key characters – you leave the theatre sunny side up.

But I believe that a key component of web success (or, ANY business for that matter) is just the same – the Feel Good Factor.

Just as Mama Mia leaves everyone feeling good, you want your customers to feel good about every single moment of interaction they have from your websites, from sign up to download, from purchase to information enquiry.

If you can make the entire buying experience pleasurable, simple, personal, blue riband – in other words “shining” – the customer will feel good. And he or she could be a customer for life! So it is well worthwhile taking some time to look at your Home Page, or landing page, and ask yourself, “Will this page make my visitor feel good?” Do you have really compelling images and crisp colors? Is the page layout attractive? Does the text scream at the visitor, or does it seek to attract the reader with benefits and values? If the answer is ‘Yes”, you can be sure they will click on the ‘Buy’ button; if not, well – you can guess.

How “feel good” is your checkout page? Do you explain clearly the processes involved? Is it easy for customers to contact you – by phone as well as email? How prompt will you be to handle questions? How quick will you be to respond to complaints?

I like to think of each customer mouse click as a ‘moment of truth’. If your site really delivers, each moment of truth – each mouse click – delivers a visitor who becomes a customer. And for this to happen, you need to make certain that your navigation buttons are logical and obvious. And make certain you have a site map as well. (Don’t forget that your need to ensure that your site makes the search engines feel good, as well.)

The whole look and feel of your site is characterized layout and color, naturally, but the style and tone of your written words are even more important. I’m not just talking fonts here (although they are vitally important). It’s the way you lay out your text on the page, which is quite different to the way you would set out the text in a word processor.

People ‘read’ a web page quite differently to the way they read a newspaper or a magazine. Rather than focused, full sentence reading, we tend to skim and look for the key words, or key phrases. This means that your sentences need to be shorter, with more ‘white space’ on the page. All of this leads to a ‘feel good’ factor because if a visitor is surfing from site to site, looking for a particular product or service, your page will stand out for its clarity and user friendliness.

Take a moment to look at the ‘tone’ of your writing.

Is it friendly, or is it a bit off putting? For example, just think about the difference just one single word can make. Take the word ‘Welcome’ for instance. When it is present on a landing page, it sets the tone for everything that follows. Another word like this is ‘success’ – it’s a word that everyone wants to identify with. Don’t you cringe when you come across websites that seem to have been written with no thought for the reader? The sales copy comes over as bullying, the script jars, and it is a relief to click away from the site.

In business school speak, of course, the ‘feel good factor’ is known as ‘Customer Care’ and companies who take it seriously grow market share even in turbulent economic conditions.

But the Web allows all of us to demonstrate outstanding customer care, and we fail to do so at our peril.

Ebay feedback shows how important customer care can be. If a seller doesn’t meet (or exceed) a buyer’s expectations according to four simple criteria: item description, communication, postage costs and speed of delivery, then they may receive negative feedback from a purchaser. The system works – 100% positive feedback attracts more buyer interest than those sellers with less. It’s that ‘feel good’ factor at work again.

Getting high visitor numbers to your website isn’t a matter of luck or chance; it’s attention to detail. Converting those visitors into buyers isn’t luck or chance either. It’s the feel good factor – Mama Mia!

Film Writing Inside Secrets Of Screenwriting Tips By The Writing Guru

In the current economic downturn, business owners are looking for an edge to help them survive and thrive. Frequently this edge materialises in the guise of a marketing idea or initiative.

Effective marketing should focus on delivering your core business message to as wide an audience as possible in the shortest time frame and at the cheapest cost.

Clearly free marketing is beneficial, and with the advent of the internet it is now possible, more than ever to deliver an effective free marketing campaign to a mass global audience.

Internet users have a very short attention span so business owners have to deliver their marketing message in a very quick and concise fashion.

Several businesses have capitalised on the global reach of a viral marketing campaign. One of the first business ventures to maximise their business via a viral marketing campaign, was actually a group of scriptwriters who wrote and produced a movie called The Blair Witch Project.

The writing guru advises this feature length film was promoted virally via a very clever online marketing campaign produced by screenplay writers who had no finances to promote their film. To say this marketing campaign was a massive success would be a gross understatement.

Although it is not taught as such, this is one of the real film writing inside secrets, screenwriting tips relevant to business owners.

Business people are learning the inside secrets of screenwriting tips to help their business marketing campaigns. The writing guru states several business owners attended his University MA screenplay writer programme.

Scriptwriters know that film writing cuts to the quick. Screenplay writers understand a magic screenwriter sells their product because their screenplay script message is clear & concise just like a marketing campaign has to be.

Scriptwriting offers business owners many business marketing parallels which when utilised, can effectively turbo charge your business growth.

Film Writing Inside Secrets Of Screenwriting Tips By The Writing Guru #1 Identify Your Audience

Scriptwriting is an art medium specifically designed to captivate a fee paying audience for a period of 90 minutes or longer. A screenplay writer audience is one of the toughest business audiences to satisfy, because every member of the audience is a self appointed critic.

To achieve success a screenplay script has to be produced into a visual art form that engrosses a cinematic audience. It has to deliver a core message and has to captivate the audience in the first 2 minutes of 90 minutes plus, or the audience will switch off and leave.

Scriptwriters have to work hard on every project and what the fee paying customers don’t get to see is the endless amounts of research that has gone into the project before it is even handed over to a film producer and director.

In reality there is no such concept as a magic screenwriter as it is not uncommon for screenplay writers to spend many years perfecting their script before securing movie production rights.

One of the first lessons taught to University degree scriptwriting students is to identify your audience before you write a single word. This is especially relevant to any business owner working on a marketing campaign to grow their business.

Film Writing Inside Secrets Of Screenwriting Tips By The Writing Guru #2 Research Your Idea Before You Identify Your Title & Log Line

Just like an effective marketing campaign, the title and log line are generally the first impressions a fee paying audience has of your product or services. In film school screenplay writers are taught how to conduct extensive research into their anticipated project.

Scriptwriting mirrors business marketing,in so much as everything starts with an idea. In-depth research is the key to success and every screenplay writer knows that failure in the research of the screenplay script equals overall project failure.

Once research is complete, a scriptwriters next task is to identify a memorable title for the film script.

Ideally the title has to be short and punchy and ideally something relevant to the script and story. Think of the movies Jaws and Alien. Both titles were well researched and they both instantly conjure up a thought process when mentioned.

A log line is sometimes referred to in a business marketing campaign as a strap line. If there was a concept of a magic screenwriter then he or she would produce a log line of no more than 25 words. The log line is a positive reinforcement of the title.

Once again short and concise is best. The idea is to describe your product or service in as few words as possible. The movie ‘Alien’ was originally pitched to investors with a log line of ‘Think Jaws In Space.’

In scriptwriting many scriptwriters deliver their log line as a kind of elevator pitch to movie producers, directors and investors. A listener or reader should be able to imagine the entire movie from your log line.

Many blockbuster movies have been commissioned on the basis of an effective log line delivered as an elevator pitch.

Film Writing Inside Secrets Of Screenwriting Tips By The Writing Guru #3 Write A Treatment

A screenplay writers treatment is a one to twenty page inside overview of a screenplay script. It is generally requested by movie producers, directors and/or investors. This provides a much more in-depth overview of the scriptwriting project.

It allows potential investors to identify with the product, the story, the characters and the back story. It is rare for any major feature film to be commissioned without sight of a detailed treatment.

In relation to a business marketing campaign, consider the screenplay writer treatment as your marketing project brief. I have heard of several business owners seeking a magic screenwriter to help with their marketing campaigns.

I know that several scriptwriters from my University screenplay writers programme are employed in conventional businesses.

Film Writing Inside Secrets Of Screenwriting Tips By The Writing Guru #4 Kill Your Babies

To kill your babies is a scriptwriting phrase used to describe actions taken after screenplay writers have written their second, third or further drafts of their screenplay script.

Because there is no such concept of a magic screenwriter most scriptwriters tend to over write, and are frequently not the best editors. A professional screenplay writer knows if their script is too long, or it is not captivating enough, that he or she has to kill their babies.

This means the writing guru may have to cut out one of their favourite characters in the script, or some of their favourite dialogue, because although the writer is happy with it, it is not propelling the overall project forwards towards success.

It is much the same with business marketing campaigns. Frequently ideas, concepts, dialogue, text and characters are often left in because the marketing account producer has become too attached to them.

They have become the marketing producer’s babies. It often takes a strong willed business owner to state that the marketing producer has to kill his or her babies to enable the marketing campaign to achieve maximum success.

Film Writing Inside Secrets Of Screenwriting Tips By The Writing Guru #5 Write A Second Draft

Of the hundreds of thousands of scriptwriting, projects produced by tens of thousands of screenplay writers every year, I have yet to come across a screenplay script, that was produced after the screenplay writer submitted it as a first draft.

Most professional scriptwriters understand that producing a piece of art for fee paying customers requires several drafts. There does not appear to be a magic screenwriter formula. If there was, every writing guru would produce Hollywood Blockbuster successful movies.

I personally know of many screenplay writers who produce up to thirty drafts of their screenplay before they are comfortable enough to submit it to a film producer or director.

It is a similar process for business marketing campaigns. Any campaign you pay for that has only gone through one draft is highly likely to fail. I say highly likely, because there is bound to be the occasional exception to the rule.

In general though, any first draft of a marketing campaign can be likened to a first draft of a film script.

All screenplay writer students are taught that their first draft should just contain their ideas and thoughts. In fact they are taught to dump everything down on the pages without any thought to editing.

They are also taught not to get bogged down with the finer details of the script because that only begins in the second and third drafts when you have to kill your babies.

In business marketing campaigns like in my film scripts I personally find that three drafts offers me the best chance of success. Utilising the film writing inside secrets of screenwriting tips by the writing guru will help add a fresh perspective to your business marketing campaigns.

How To Generate Free Website Traffic Fast

It goes without saying that if you don’t have website traffic, the other components of your web business can’t work very effectively. Without eyeballs on your sales letter, you won’t make any sales!

There are many ways to generate fast free website traffic, but many of them aren’t readily available to the average, lesser-known marketer.

Joint ventures are an excellent way to get tons of others to send you there traffic. However, joint ventures hinge upon relationships/connections, and many of the people with the most traffic have tons of their own products to promote. Those who own large lists are also approached about joint ventures so often that they may have commitments that extend out past six months.

If you do have a large list, getting immediate traffic to your website can be as simple as sending a compelling email. However, it takes time to build a quality list. It also takes time to build strong relationships and trust with your list members.

Another one of my favorite ways to generate lots of free traffic is by creating an inexpensive product and then allowing others to selling it and keep 100% of the profit. However, that does require a product on a really hot topic, and you still have to recruit affiliates.

You are also giving away 100% of the money on the sale (sacrificing early profits), and your goal there is not so much traffic but to build a list. I do often do this, using a script called Rapid Action Profits, which deposits proceed from the sale directly into my affiliates Paypal accounts while adding the new subscriber to my list automatically.

However, for generating traffic that is free, fast, and even long-term, I recommend creating lots of content and putting it in the path of the search engines. In fact, I often do this when I’m launching a new product, or even promoting a new affiliate product. Here are the down and dirty steps that I take:

1) Do your keyword research, striving to identify the “buying keywords” that your target customers are using. One easy way to do that is to use the “Google External Keyword Tool” to research which keywords get the most searches. This tool is free to use, and will also suggest related keywords to you.

What you are looking for is evidence that people are searching on a given phrase, and that those people are spending money. The Google External Keyword Tool will tell you this.

You can also enter a keyword phrase that you plan to target into the regular Google search box, and look at how many Google AdWords ads display on the right side of the page. These are people paying for each click from people who search on that term, and then click through to their sites. Presumably, they wouldn’t pay for those clicks unless these customers were spending money.

2) Use your target keywords to craft titles for 20 articles. In addition to the keywords make sure that your title also promises some benefit. The article title is what’s going to get you the most traction in the search engines.

3) Actually write those 20 articles. They can be as short as 400 words. If you have trouble writing, go to several of the bigger article directories and read what others have written on the topic. Also Google the keyword and look at what experts have had to say on the topic. Then write the articles.

If you are still stumped, simply plug your mike into your computer and then talk about the topic. Most of us are certainly good at talking. Record your thoughts then go back and organize them and you have an article (or several articles).

Add a resource box to the article that tells the reader to go to your site for more information, or resources (your product) on the topic. When linking back to your site, use your keyword as the anchor text where permitted.

4) Turn each article into a video. The simplest way to do this is probably to put your main points on PowerPoint slides. Then as you read your article, flip through the slides, and record it using Camtasia screen capture software. As easy as that, you have a movie.

5) Turn each article into a podcast (an MP3). Just read the article and record it using software built right into your computer. You can also download free recording software for tons of places on the internet. One of my favorites is Audacity.

7) Write several press releases using the article titles as your topic. Here you need to get a little creative, but as an example, for this article I would use, “Website Traffic Expert Reveals How To Generate Free website Traffic Fast.”

These press releases are being written for SEO purposes, so the exact wording is not so critical. You are going to share several point in the press release and then you are going to link to one or two websites that you want to call attention to. Your links will use your keywords as the anchor text.

8) Submit these articles, videos, podcasts, and press releases to article directories, video sharing sites, podcast aggregators, and free press release sites. Since I do this for numerous products and projects, I use an automated submission site. Being a very prolific writer, I have weeks when I may do 20-40 articles (while still running my web business).

9) “Rinse and repeat!” What happens over time is that you’ll soon have so much content in cyberspace that you’ll achieve critical mass. At that point you’ll rank for your most important keywords as well as lots of longtail keywords. At that point, you’ll be amazed at the traffic.

To speed up the process you can also post your articles to an optimized WordPress blog that’s been configured to “ping” RSS aggregators, social networking sites, and bookmarking sites each time that you post. If you don’t know how to do that, it’s beyond the scope of this article, but most webmasters familiar with WordPress can set that up quickly for you. WordPress is very simple, yet very powerful.

There you have it, “How to generate free website traffic fast!” Yes, there is work involved, but when you see the results, you’ll know that it was well worth it.
