What is a good story to write about that can have 3 different perspectives?

Story & Character Development
Olivia asked:

Okay so I want to write a story that is one story but is told separately by 3 different characters that have three points of view. One of them has to be what really happened. It can be a high school/drama/relationship sort of thing. Please brainstorm, I’d greatly appreciate it!

Do you like my poems.i wrote them this summer?

PeAcE gurl asked:

Have You
Have you ever seen
Kids on a merry go round
Or seen rain
Fall on the ground
Have you ever felt waves
brush against your feet
Or have been ignored
As you silently take a seat
Have you ever heard
the gentle wind blow
As you run outside
Into the soft powdery snow
Have you ever touched
a delicate flower
Or felt that you had all the power
Have you ever written something
That you thought was no good
But then you discovered
You did the best you could

Hate and Love
I write in the air
Every day and night
From when we said I love you
To having our last fight
Although you don’t understand
What I’m going through
I could never want to see you again
But I always crawl back to you
We had our share of moments
Ones that wouldn’t last
Although I still love
Our relationship is in the past
I kept your secret
And fed your lies
Healed your scars
Heard your cries
Hated when you loved
Hit when you kissed
But no matter what happens
In my heart you’ll be missed

these i wrote early this summer/the end of the school yr

The Game
Do you seriously
Have what it takes
To take risks
Or to make mistakes

I’m not an actor to your script
I ignore you all the way
This is my life and I have a choice
I don’t have to listen to what you say

You have no power here
What do you have to prove
Just leave and don’t say goodbye
Go ahead and make your next move

But nothings impossible
If you have faith and pray
Go and face reality
Miracles happen everyday

I pray to a God that won’t listen
I make moves that I shouldn’t take
But now its your turn to lose
The game is over,checkmate

this is the last one

Do you Dare

Do you dare
To come out at night
While the moon is full
And the stars are bright

The valley we rule
Echoes our cries
We rule everything
Under the night skies

Do you still dare
To come at us tonight
To fight and win
Til’ mornings light

The woods are our home
Do not enter we say
It all belongs to us
You may not stay

People try to find us
We’ve been around forever
We hide in disguise
Because we’re noble and clever

We have teeth as sharp as knives
Our feet run with the wind
Our piercing eyes
Glow within

Just another second
Until you’re straight in view
So now tell me human
Who is better than who

Is an X-files sequel really necessary?

Script Writing secrets
aires69uk OFFICIAL asked:

Filming on the second X Files movie is to begin on 10 December, 20th Century Fox has announced.
The film will see David Duchovny and Gillian Anderson reprise their famous roles as alien-hunting FBI agents Mulder and Scully. Series creator Chris Carter will direct the as-yet unnamed film when production begins in Vancouver, Canada. The script, written by Chris Carter and Frank Spotnitz – who also co-wrote the first X-Files movie – is being kept a close secret. All that is being revealed is that it is a “supernatural thriller” and will develop the complicated relationship between Mulder and Scully.

First of all, just how the heck are you going to develop the relationship between Mulder and Scully? That’s the first thing.

Secondly, why the feck do another X-files sequel after all this time? While I did like the first film myself, it wasn’t hugely successful and it was released years ago anyway.

What’s going on??
Aye, but has it really still got a big enough fanbase after all this time – do you really think so?

need help in writing a fiction for a film class?

Script Writing secrets
akane827 asked:

i need help in writing a script for a 10 minute student video project about anything fiction. i came up with a premise but need help with the details. i would love any ideas or suggestions that i would be able to film.

premise:
A babysitter meets this nice married couple for a babysitting job. after the interview, she gets it, but finds out that she is babysitting a stuffed animal. I have a friend (girl) to be the babysitter and two people to be the married couple. I also may be able to use the setting of my friend’s place who has a baby so that I can have baby stuff around like a crib, etc.

I was thinking of having the reason for the married couple treating this stuffed animal as a child would be that it reminded them of their child they were about to have, but the mother had a miscarriage. the stuffed animal is something the husband bought to give to their child when it was born. maybe after she lost the child somehow, she becomes barren. i need to work on this reasoning a bit more. it would be hard to film their child getting killed somehow since i don’t have a child actor to use.

i don’t know how to start the film. should i introduce the babysitter on a deaper level? i want it to be mostly about the babysitter and her relationship with the toy. i want her to connect with it somehow, maybe she finds the secret about the parents and becomes sympathetic. im not sure how i will make her connect with the toy. also i don’t know how to conclude the film.

any suggestions/ideas/constructive criticism is greatly appreciated!!! thanks.

The Secret Life of the American Teenager?

Dee82 asked:

Fans of The Secret Life of the American Teenager, please explain:
Is it written like that or is it only my perception that Ben (and his dad a bit too) are totally creepy? Why is he so pushy and possessive?
Is Amy a character in denial, or am I just reading too much into her saying she’s really ‘madly in love’ with Ben while she’s constantly annoyed by him and bullied into a relationship, and half the time she wants him out of her face?
Honestly, I’m not making fun of the show. I get the bad acting, like every scene with Molly Ringwald I can actually envision the script and her following it with a finger, but I don’t understand what’s part of the show and what’s just dubious writing. Like, are Amy’s friends meant to be shallow and flaky?
And, did it ever say if Adrienne’s mom was pregnant in her teens, or is it just bad casting that she looks younger than her daughter?
Teenagers, I haven’t been one for about 5 years so I’m obviously out of touch, does this show represent your secret American lives?
Volleyball: Please don’t ignore those Restraining Orders.

My first acting audition: “write your own monologue and expect improv”? Please Help?

Cami the Awesome asked:

Okay, so I’m auditioning for a sitcom in about a week and a half. This is my first audition outside of high school plays and commercials. The director seems not to understand that I have NO experience with this but he wants:

a. …me to write a 30-60 sec monologue based on the character I’m auditioning for.
b. …do a cold read of the script.
c. …be prepared for “improv”.

Now, the cold read I can handle. But I don’t know how to go about writing a monologue and I have no idea what improv is, let alone how to be prepared for it.

The show is about the everyday life of a group of African-American college students. He described it as revolutionary, insightful, and ridiculously funny.

My character is Justice: Nice, hardworking, naïve, inexperienced, emotional, out-going, spoiled; likes music, dance, arguing, dogs, school, family and her boyfriend; dislikes her roommate; She and her boyfriend get along very well together, but sometimes they argue about nothing. Their relationship is the source for a lot of stress in her life, because her ex-boyfriend is always bothering her, and her parents do not like her current boyfriend. His friends get on her nerves because they talk so vulgar to each other. When she’s at the apartment, she always makes sure she corrects the guys when they refer to sex and females. She helps the guys with food and their relationships.

Okay, so can anyone offer any tips on writing a monologue and tell me what improv is and how I can be prepared for it.
