My computer won’t let me add film to my movies I make on Windows movie maker?

When I make movies on Windows movie maker it lets me import pictures and audio but when I go to import film and click on the folder with the film and click on the film (to import it) it comes up with ‘C:\Users\Kc\Documents\dora movies\Hooning Dora.MOV could not be imported. Unspecified error’. Not only with this movie/film but with any other other film/movie on my computer no matter where I have saved it to.
