My sister and I used to make mini-books for our barbies and give them titles, lol. I found some the other day and these were the titles. I thought about what a cool plot could have been. What do you think? Any plot ideas you think of. But please try to keep them simple enough to have as a short story. By ‘short’ I mean several thousand words at most. Thanks!

Plot- Things are going well for Peter Parker, but not as he planned. He and Mary Jane are now split up, a decision Peter made to keep her safe from his enemies. After many apologies, Peter and Gwen are now very close, while Mary has film role as a superhero. Captain Stacy has given up the search for the “missing” Eddie Brock, and the escaped Flint Marko.

Dr. Connors soon comes upon a scientific break through in regeneration of body parts, and begins to work with top scientists Miles Warren and Michael Morbius. Connors makes Peter his lab assistant, and he starts working with Miles’s assistant, Debra Whitman. As Curt tries to perfect his formula so he can try it on himself, Miles is trying to steal it and use it as his own. Curt soon becomes obsessed, leaving Peter to try and help him, while Martha worries.

Meanwhile, the new owner of OsCorp, Max Dillon, is in trouble as he is blackmailed by masked crime lord, the Rose. The Rose, who has a secret past with Captain Stacy, wants Max to hold a fundraiser for the NYPD so his gang can kill Stacy and most of the NYPD at the same time. Max, who has an alcohol problem, wants to be safe and hires Spider-Man as a secret guard. Max holds the fundraiser, and the plot almost goes through until Spider-Man rescues the cops. Rose teams up with illusionist Quentin Beck and tech specialist Adrian Toomes to kill Spider-Man, Captain Stacy, and Max.

As Spider-Man is stalked by Rose and dozens of criminals, Peter becomes distracted when he starts seeing Eddie Brock in random areas. After almost not catching a falling Betty Brant due to a Venom sighting, Jameson starts using the occurence to ridicule Spider-Man. Peter quits the Bugle when he is asked to get an embarrasing photo of Spidey. Betty, who finds working with Jameson disrespectful to her hero, quits also, leaving Joe to decide what to do.

Peter becomes even more paranoid when a black suited Spider-Man terrorizes May into having a heart attack. While at the hospital, Peter rediscovers his feelings for Mary, and decides break off everything with Gwen. Meanwhile, Curt perfects the formula late at night, and tests it on himself. The formula works, regenerating his arm, but it soon turns him into a reptillian creature, which destroys the lab, injuring Martha, Michael, and Debra. Curt, now the Lizard, escapes the lab and rampages across the city. Peter arrives at the lab to discover Curt used the left over symbiote he kept in his formula. Peter finds a gene cleansing formula, and swings out to a subway tunnel in which Lizard escaped to. During their fight, Peter gets a call from Mary saying that Gwen is being held hostage by the Rose on a building rooftop, leading Peter to fight harder than ever and tricks Lizard into drinking the formula, turning him back to normal. Martha arrives and picks him up.

George manages to get to Rose, and learns his identity. He’s Richard Fisk, son of Wilson Fisk, a drug kingpin George killed two years before. Rose announces that he will kill George in front of Gwen, so she will see her father’s pain. Peter arrives on the rooftop, but sees Venom again, distracted, and is shot in the arm. George attacks Richard and pushes him off the rooftop, but falls with him, saving Spider-Man and Gwen. Martha and Michael find Peter, after revealing they knew his identity, and take him to the hospital. Peter learns that Miles got Debra, raided the lab, stealing formulas and blueprints, and fled the city.

Later that night, Venom breaks into the Bugle, knocking Joe unconscious and cornering Jameson. Eddie offers to ruin Spider-Man’s life, but only if he gets his job back with double pay. Jameson makes the deal, as Venom escapes into the night.

Later at the hospital that night, Peter feels guilty, and decides to stay with Gwen, but learns from Gwen that she is leaving New York to get away from the grief. As Gwen leaves, Mary arrives and announces to Peter that she is leaving New York for Hollywood, and leaves him with a kiss. Depressed, Peter leaves the hospital and
