How do you start a good kids novel story?

Story & Character Development
Britney asked:

Well, I’m trying to start a great tween/kids novel story just for fun and I don’t know how to start it. I’m being imaginative as possible but I can’t think of something GREAT! Please give some good sentence starters and maybe some story plot suggestions.

Getting My First Tattoo. Advice Please?

Script Writing Tips
KandieMae asked:

I am getting my first tattoo tomorrow. It is going to be a short bible scripture on my mid/lower back, simple script writing and all in black. First, I have already started taking zinc and vitamin c, to promote healing. What else should I do to prepare? What should I expect at the parlor? What should I expect during the tattooing process? What will the pain feel like (I have gotten many piercings, how would the types of pain compare)?
Any aftercare tips? What worked for you?
Also, the artist said that the cost will be about $100, what should I give as a tip?
Any other advice (remember, this is my first ink-sperience!) would help…
Thank you!
I have never been stung by a bee, or gotten scratched by a cat so I honestly don’t know how those feel LOL. My piercings hurt for a second while they were getting done, but I forgot about the pain when I saw the results. And unfortunately, I will have to go alone.
Got it done! it ended up being bigger than originally planned, but looks perfect. I ended up holding my breath for the first 2 letters and it made me feel really dizzy and sick :( so I took deep breaths the rest of the time. As soon as the needle came off there was no pain. Doesn’t hurt or feel weird at all… thanks for the advice everyone! I’ll let you guys choose best answer, cause you all gave great answers! God Bless!
