Being discouraged it’s hard for me to come up with ideas to write about. Any tips on how to get a good story rolling? oh and also how to name characters? Where to buy fake snow that looks realistic on movie film?

Any ideas or suggestions? ThinkGeek.com has some http://www.thinkgeek.com/geektoys/science/79ea/ but it looks cheap and I’m not sure how realistic it looks.
By the way–I don’t need very much. maybe just a large table. It’s just for a quick close up of something sitting in the snow, with snow falling/blowing.
